Volunteers Needed: Wrist Cooling Devices to Treat Hot Flashes in Breast and Prostate Cancer Patients

Eligibility: Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer Patients on hormone deprivation therapy and experiencing at least two moderate or severe hot flashes daily are invited to participate.

Aim: To compare two cooling devices that are placed on the wrist to control hot flashes.

Location: Boston University Medical Campus, 85 E Newton Street, Room 1013, Boston, MA 02118.

Who: Vitamin D, Skin, and Bone Research Laboratory under the supervision of Dr Michael F. Holick.

Study Duration: 6 weeks, 2 visits and 2-3 Zoom/phone calls. Compensation:: Will receive the commercially available cooling device.
